That great audiophile vinyl classic, soprano Netania Devrath's recording of JOSEPH CANTELOUBE'S SONGS OF THE AUVERGNE - VANGUARD CLASSICS USA VSD 502, is now available in a two-layer hybrid SACD compatible with all CD players. This glorious recording, in whatever format you choose, is a must.

Speaking of classics, JANACEK - SINFONIA, TARAS BULBA, ETC. - JOSÉ SEREBRIER - REFERENCE RECORDINGS RR-2103 is a brand new, two-for-the-price-of-one reissue of two fine 24 bit HDCD discs by the
Czech State Philharmonic, Brno. Included is conductor Serebrier's half hour symphonic synthesis of The Makropulos Case, prepared especially for this disc, which retains the composer's original scoring.
