Page 6 - Westinghouse Digital
Two shots of the new 52" 1080p LCD HDTV from Westinghouse Digital. Besides being a full 5 inches larger than the biggest 1080p monitor they have out now, the TX-52F480S has a wide array of inputs, including 4 HDMI, 2 component, 1 VGA, 2 composite, and 2 S-Video. In addition, this is the first 1080p television from Westinghouse, meaning it has an ATSC/clear QAM tuner built in. They have also improved the contrast ratio to 5000:1, as well as reducing the response time to 6.5 milliseconds. This beauty should be available in May-June for an as yet undetermined price. There will also be 42" ($1,999) and 47" ($2,499) models available in the March-April time frame. Go to CES 2007 Show Report Index.
