Conclusions The Cadence CSX-15 has set a new standard for budget subwoofers, at least in my opinion. Its price to performance ratio is incredible. While I found its music performance to be good, its performance with movies was excellent. It may not be the fastest sub out there nor will it have you reaching for your pipe organ collection it does provide excellent performance with a wide range of material. In today’s economy every dollar counts and bang for your buck is King. If you’re looking for great performance at a great price you owe it to yourself to check out the CSX-15. Comments (5)

High density or MDF?

written by Richard Stevens , April 07, 2009 Manu, some receivers/processors have dual subwoofer outputs. If not, a simple Y connector will do the trick. This will turn your 7.1 configuration into a 7.2.
class A amplifier?
written by Maarten , April 08, 2009 This seems strange to me. Their website mentions it as well. They also mention: "High Current Output stage utilizing 6 Ring Emitter Technology Sanken Studio Grade Japanese Transistors." Quite some attention for the amp for 400 bucks. :-)
Great sub for the price
written by Dave H , September 23, 2009 I did a lot of research when putting my home theater together and when I found out about this sub (AVS forum), I thought it was too good to be true. The cost to performance ratio is off the chart for this sub, and they run coupon specials a couple of times a year to make the deal even sweeter! I don't have a high price system, but by putting a system together with info like this review, my friends are blown away by how great the sound is in my HT. This sub really should be more widely recognized as a GREAT entry level piece. Write comment
