SHAKOPEE, Minn. — May 4, 2010 — In a continued effort to provide enhanced communications and support for its network of dealers, Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) today introduced the Integration Zone, the official forum for the RTI professional integrator.

Integration Zone offers RTI professional integrators a password-protected, dealer-only forum with monitoring and participation by RTI staff. Through Integration Zone, dealers have an online community for the exchange of information, system files, tips and tricks, as well as an excellent resource for discussing troubleshooting and system-design questions with a network of RTI experts and dealers. SHAKOPEE, Minn. — March 31, 2010 — Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) today announced that its MRP-64 multiroom control processor and U2 weather-resistant controller have both been honored with a 2010 TechHome Mark of Excellence Award. Presented at the eleventh annual Electronic House Expo (EHX) Spring 2010 in Orlando, Fla., the MRP-64 was named the Platinum Award winner in the “Multi-Room Audio Video Product of the Year” category, while the U2 received the Gold Award in the “Human Interface Product of the Year” category.

Presented by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the TechHome Mark of Excellence Awards recognize outstanding achievement and innovation in trend-setting custom home electronics products. SHAKOPEE, Minn. — March 8, 2010 — Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) today announced that it has partnered with RTi Systems to establish a new distribution channel for the company’s professional-grade, integrator-friendly control solutions in Australia and New Zealand. Under the agreement, RTi Systems will distribute and provide technical support for RTI’s entire line of award-winning handheld and in-wall control panels, central processors, and related accessories throughout the region.

“We are very excited to have partnered with RTi Systems to provide professional ‘best in class’ support for our control solutions in Australia and New Zealand,” said Kris Haggstrom, international sales manager at RTI.

In support of the new distribution channel, RTi Systems’ Brisbane headquarters will be operational as of March 15, and will be equipped to honor all existing and new warranties and service requirements for all RTI products. Additional sales offices are planned for Sydney and Melbourne, with further staff to be established in Perth and New Zealand to provide RTI dealers with a direct contact in each of their territories.

RTi Systems’ Australia/New Zealand operations will be headed by managing director Mark Hamilton, while Richard Pece will lead RTi’s technical/training team. Both have spent several years in the custom installation and distribution industry and have extensive experience with RTI products. (more…)
