Velodyne Grows Chrysalis Brand with Recent Distribution Partnerships

Velodyne, the world’s leading manufacturer of powered subwoofers, has bolstered the distribution network for its Chrysalis line of subwoofers through several recent distribution partnerships throughout North America.

Among the new distributors for Velodyne’s Chrysalis brand include Allnet Distributing (Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Kentucky), Big Dog Distributing (Atlanta, Ga. and Nashville, Tenn.), Bursma Electronic Distributing (Michigan, Ohio and Western Pennsylvania), Cardinal Sales (New York City) and Pacific Cabling Solutions (British Columbia, Canada).

“All great professional installers know that no home entertainment system is complete without a great subwoofer,” said Bruce Hall, president of Velodyne Acoustics. “With our recent distribution partnerships, installation professionals now have greater access to our Chrysalis brand of products, providing them even more opportunities to provide their customers with the best combination of price and performance in subwoofer technology.”

Chrysalis subwoofers are driven by Velodyne’s 28 years of technology advancements, delivering a powerful home theater experience. Available in a wide array of sizes, styles and price points, each subwoofer provides excellent bass performance for movies and music.

Chrysalis’ Starfire Series, available in 6.5” (with an 8” passive), 10” and 12” models, produces deep, accurate bass that gives a dynamic lifelike quality to any home entertainment setting. The Chrysalis Photon Series delivers powerful bass in the form of a small subwoofer. These tiny, yet accurate subwoofers include 8” and 10” models. The remote controlled BassMatrix Series subwoofers allow users to customize their listening experience by selecting digital presets. The InstallAdvantage Series offers an affordable, easy-to-install in-wall subwoofer with matching amplifier.  The IA Series includes one-touch, auto-EQ room bass correction along with a remote control with four bass presets for music, movies and games.
