The new Sonance BPS-1 Bandpass Subwoofer, designed to work with all round and square Architectural Series models, provides exceptional bass performance where needed and installs perfectly flush with a ceiling.

The Sonance Architectural Series BPS-1 Bandpass Subwoofer System is engineered to produce arrestingly deep, powerful bass impact, while remaining completely hidden from view. Its cabinet is designed to attach to industry standard I-beams and joists. The BPS-1 includes mounting hardware that safely mounts the enclosure within the ceiling structure; this vents via a supplied flexible conduit to deliver the subwoofer’s entire bass energy all through a single, virtually invisible, truly flush grille. Available connectors allow the BPS-1 to use any size round or square Architectural Series Brackets, Universal Brackets, or Gypsum Panel Brackets to match other speakers in the installation. Finish Components are available in trimless and micro-trim options and include a choice of micro-perforated aluminum or fine-cloth grilles.

The BPS-1 Bandpass Subwoofer is a passive-sub design and Sonance recommends using the Sonamp® A150 power amplifier, which delivers 150 watts of power RMS and provides flexible connection options.
