RTI at ISE 2012:

The RTiPanel App
Winner of the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles(R) Manufacturers’ Excellence Award for Best New Product, the RTiPanel app brings the power of RTI’s control solutions to the iPhone(R), iPod touch(R), and iPad(R). With the app installed on any of these popular Apple(R) products, users will have complete control over any RTI XP remote processor and all connected electronic systems from virtually anywhere in the world. RTiPanel raises the bar with unique features including full two-way feedback, dynamic scrolling lists, a completely customizable user interface, and more. Support for Android(R) devices will be available in 2012.

SURFiR Companion Remote
RTI’s SURFiR is a low-cost companion remote designed for use with an iPad(R), iPod touch(R), or iPhone(R), with support for Android(R) and similar devices in the future. Providing an affordable alternative to dedicated touchpanel controllers, the SURFiR allows users to incorporate the Apple(R) touchscreen devices that they already own as the graphical interface for their control system, while adding the convenience of “instant on,” tactile control with hard buttons through the SURFiR companion remote. A stylish and cost-effective handheld remote sporting a contemporary look and feel, the SURFiR can be used with any of RTI’s powerful XP control processors. The SURFiR remote will be available in Q2 2012.

KX7 In-Wall Touchpanel
For complete control over all home entertainment and environmental systems, the powerful KX7 is fortified with integrated 10/100 Base-T, 802.11 wireless Ethernet, and a ZigBee(R) module for wireless communication with RTI’s ZigBee-enabled control processors. For direct control, the unit features RS-232 and high-output IR ports, and saves costs by running RTI’s two-way drivers without the need for a separate control processor. Featuring an 800×480 WVGA LCD with a multitouch capacitive touchscreen, the controller is bolstered with composite, S-video, or component video input at up to 576p to display video in dazzling detail. The KX7 will be available in Q2 2012.

ESC-2 Ethernet-to-Serial Converter
The ESC-2 allows installers to easily expand the capabilities of any RTI XP series control processor by adding two additional bidirectional serial ports over Ethernet. The ESC-2 integrates seamlessly into Integration Designer(R) for simple setup, and multiple modules can be used for virtually unlimited control of serial devices. The Ethernet-to-serial converter will be available in Q2 2012.

T2-Cs+ Handheld Remote Control
At ISE 2012, RTI will introduce the next generation of its T2-Cs handheld controller: the T2-Cs+. Designed to dazzle, the T2-Cs+ sports a 2.4-inch brilliant LCD touchscreen for stunning image quality, while 128 MB of Flash memory and a 532-MHz CPU provide a boost in performance. Offering the ultimate in flexibility, the controller features a revolutionary dual-RF platform, which supports both 433 MHz RF for one-way control and 2.4 GHz ZigBee(R) for bidirectional communication with RTI processors and supported third-party electronics such as music servers, lighting, and even Web-based RSS feeds for convenient weather updates.

CP-450 and CP-1650 Amplifiers
The perfect complement to RTI’s AD-8 distributed audio system, the new four-channel CP-450 and 16-channel CP-1650 amplifiers extend speaker outputs to accommodate larger installations. Providing 50 W per channel, the units feature a matching chassis to the AD-4 and AD-8 and utilize the same Cool Power(R) technology. Offering rackmount or freestanding installation options, the amplifiers feature voltage triggers, RS-232, and IR power control options. In addition, the CP-1650 offers audio input level adjustment on each channel, and bridgeable audio outputs for increased power.

For simple, intuitive navigation through iPod music content, the device offers a full on-screen GUI and component video output, in addition to robust two-way feedback on RTI controllers.
