CEDIA Denver Colorado September 25, 2013 – NextGen, an innovative provider of unique product solutions for the a/v markets, announced an exciting addition to its line of powerful remote extender technology. A 4-Function Programmable IR/RF remote control that works with the NextGen Genius or Plus Remote Extenders or can be used as a standalone IR remote. The Programmable Remote will be shipping in October with an MSRP of $69.

nextgen-1The Programmable Remote contains its own built-in IR/RF transmitter and works with the NextGen remote extenders without the need for additional battery transmitters. When used in RF mode, the Programmable Remote will operate through walls, doors and around corners for superior control and ease of use.

According to NextGen’s President, Bob Dolatowski, “The Programmable Remote is a product that has often been requested by our customers who love the extra range and coverage they get with our Remote Extenders but who want the convenience of a programmable remote.
