CodexNovus Appoints David Block to Operations Manager

CodexNovus, the performance leader in stand-alone and networked high definition media server and media player products, has announced the appointment of David Block to the position of Operations Manager. Block brings a wealth of experience and management expertise to CodexNovus from an impressive career spanning a wide range of industries.

As CodexNovus’ Operation Manager, Block’s core responsibilities will lie in developing and managing customer service and sales support programs. Additionally, he will oversee accounting activities, including billing, credit and collection processes.

“We are thrilled to have David Block join the CodexNovus team,” said Hugo Feugen, President and Founder of CodexNovus. “David’s extensive wealth of expertise in management, customer service and sales support is an invaluable asset to our continued success.”

Prior to joining CodexNovus, Block spent five years developing the accounting software, marketing materials and sales and operations procedures for an employee benefits administration company.

“Joining one of the premier producers of media server products and technologies is a wonderful opportunity,” said Block. “CodexNovus has already established itself as a leader in developing reliable, high-performance products, and I look forward to further contributing to the company’s evolution.”

In addition to impressive business background in business management, Block has dedicated numerous years of service and guidance in the aviation industry. Previously, he served as the President of the Illinois Pilots Association for six years—the longest tenure of State President ever held in the association. He also served six years on the Board of Directors of Lifeline Pilots, an organization of private pilots who fly people ”in need” to distant medical centers – free of charge. Still a predominant leader in the industry, Block currently holds the position of President of the Military Aviation Hall of Fame of Illinois and is a member on the Board of Directors of four other national and state aviation organizations.
