Bryston Rated Tops Amongst Audio Electronics Manufacturers
In Recent Independent Survey

Peterborough, Ontario February 11th, 2010— Bryston LTD (www.bryston.com), builders of the world’s finest audio electronics components has announced that the results of a recent independent survey conducted by Inside Track (entitled the 2010 Supplier Loyalty test) have rated Bryston NUMBER ONE in both the Product Performance and Resolution of Service Return/Repair categories and NUMBER TWO in the Tech Support category. The survey was conducted in 43 US states and 7 Canadian provinces.

Bryston’s award-winning product lineup has long been recognized as one of the most reliable and best performing in both the consumer and professional audio industries. “Our dealers have always appreciated Bryston’s best-in-class performance and reliability, however these attributes are magnified in a challenging economy and dealers must turn to brands they can rely on,” stated Bryston president Brian Russell. Recent accolades from publications such as Stereophile, The Absolute Sound, Enjoy The Music, CE Pro and many others reinforce the survey findings.

Bryston is as well known for customer service as it is for groundbreaking products. The company offers a legendary 20-year transferrable parts and labor warranty on analog products, 5-years for digital products. “We have always sought to make our products right the first time rather than rush something to market that doesn’t meet our exacting standards,” said Russell.

Bryston has a vast mix of dealers with different profiles who reach a variety of customers in the marketplace. “We certainly benefit from a retailer that takes time to properly demo our gear although many of our newer outlets are working with architects and builders—industry leaders that spec Bryston into large jobs because of performance, reliability, and support they can count on,” Russell concluded.

Bryston has recently unveiled a series of highly efficient zone amplifiers for multi-channel and commercial applications, and the much anticipated SP3 audio/video surround processor with HDMI will be released later in 2010.

About Bryston:  Bryston (www.bryston.ca) first opened for business in 1962 as a manufacturer of blood analysis equipment, and was named (as an acronym) for its three founders, Tony Bauer, Stan Rybb, and John Stonborough. In 1968, NASA engineer John Russell, Sr. relocated himself and his family to Canada from the US and bought the company, where his son Chris set to work designing the first Bryston amplifier. The Pro 3 made its debut in 1973, and since that time, Bryston components have become legendary for their hand-assembled build quality, performance and reliability in both the pro audio and consumer audio market segments. Bryston amplifiers are utilized in some of the world’s most renowned recording studios and owned by many discerning music industry professionals. Bryston applies manufacturing techniques and materials in the everyday assembly of their electronic equipment that are more typically utilized by the military and aerospace industries. Bryston is now based in Peterborough, Ontario Canada, just northeast of Toronto, and sold through over 150 dealers in North America and 60 countries worldwide.
