New Compact, Economical Device with Dual-Mono Design and External Power Supply
Helps Turntables Deliver Unrivaled Performance
PARKER, CO, Feb. 17, 2010 — Einstein Audio, a leading German designer and manufacturer of premium audio components, introduces into the U.S. market The Little Big Phono MC Phono Preamplifier, a compact, single-ended preamplifier designed for turntables with moving-coil cartridges.
The Little Big Phono was developed with circuitry based on Einstein’s successful, but far costlier phono preamp calledThe Turntable’s Choice. A streamlined, more efficient manufacturing process led to much of the cost savings. Yet The Little Big Phono, like The Turntable’s Choice, delivers dynamic agility, precisely tracked bass lines, and a vocal range rich in emotive tone, body and a
powerful projective force, all balanced by a brilliant treble. Its dual-mono architecture, strong dynamics, absolutely quiet breaks, and unbelievable focus and image make it a must for lovers of vinyl.
The Little Big Phono comes in three pieces, including an external power supply, and packed in a handsome carrying case. Weighing only 5.5 pounds, it features a signal-to-noise ratio of 77db, a gain of 68db, and a THD less than 0.18 percent, adjustable impedance loading, and a low output impedance of 50-ohm.
Einstein’s Little Big Phono Preamplifier is available now from Aaudio imports at a suggested price of $3,900 (U.S. MSRP).
