processing for consumer appliances, today announced that Sigma's EM8610 Digital
Media Processor will power Jamo's new HDP 4250 Plasma, High Definition TV
(HDTV). Jamo is the leading European manufacturer of loudspeakers. Sigma's
EM8610, based on its award-winning REALmagic(TM) technology, provides a highly
integrated solution for ATSC, DVB, IP video, DVD and MPEG-4 decoding.
Besides
offering state-of-the-art technology, the Jamo HDP 4250 Plasma TV is part of a
complete system solution, with DVD receiver and loudspeakers, where both form
and function are completely integrated, enabling easy installation and operation
of the advanced technology. "Jamo has a tradition of providing the

The Jamo Plasma TV solution includes a DVD-receiver, allowing movies to be
watched or presentations to be run just by pressing one button on the system
remote control. The system solution is complete with radio, all digital
amplification, DVD, DivX 4 and 5, XviD, CD, MP3, JPEG and others as standard
features.

Availability
The Jamo HDP 4250 will be launched in Europe in November. The
complete system, including plasma TV, DVD receiver and a 5.1 surround
speaker, will retail around EUR 8000. The US launch will take place in
January 2004 at CES in Las Vegas.
