Seventh Veil Speakers with No Crossover Components

August 9, 2003

Seventh Veil Loudspeakers has launched a new range of loudspeakers comprising the full-range Nonsuch 4 and the matching Little Awesome subwoofer.

The Nonsuch 4 is a full-range loudspeaker which contains no crossover or other electronic circuitry. This gives it unrivalled detail retrieval, speed and coherence throughout the frequency range.

Its unique enclosure construction eliminates internal standing waves and smoothes baffle diffraction.

The drive units (four per side) were designed especially for Seventh Veil by Bandor.

The Nonsuch 4s can be used as standalone speakers but would normally be accompanied by either one or two Little Awesome subwoofers. This separation of the subs from the main speakers allows the system to be easily set-up in most listening rooms for both optimum bass and imagery.

The Nonsuch 4 is an attractive, compact floorstander with a remarkably small footprint. It measures w: 8" (20cm) x d: 5" (13cm) x h: 44.5" (113cm). Impedance: 4 ohms. Power handling: 140W.

The Little Awesome measures w: 16" (40cm) x d: 13" (32cm) x h: 16" (40cm). Impedance: 8 ohms. Power handling: 120W.

The speakers are available in either walnut or black piano-lacquer finishes.
