ARTCOUSTIC DIABLO C-1

The ARTCOUSTIC Diablo C-1 is fashioned with high-quality Scandinavian drivers, hand-built crossovers and a dense cabinet finished in the manner of a fine piece of Danish furniture. The L/C/R (left-center-right) speaker is designed to be used in conjunction with flat-panel video displays, and is an excellent candidate for left and right speakers in a surround sound home theater because its length closely matches the height of most 42" plasma monitors. Of course, it can also be mounted horizontally above or below the monitor for center channel applications.

Perhaps what is most remarkable about the C1 is its prodigious and deep output from a form factor less than three inches deep. Specially engineered high-Q, dual 4.5" woofers flank a high quality 1" wave-guided soft dome tweeter that work in unison for controlled dispersion, necessary for better home theater audio reproduction.

The Diablo C1 is the "little brother" to the DF-MULTI which closely matches the width of most 42" plasma monitors, and is timbre-matched to the Diablo Monitor and Diablo Mini speakers in the ARTCOUSTIC product line. A diminutive (10.8 inch square) Diablo Active Subwoofer rounds out the Diablo family within the ARTCOUSTIC line of 14 speakers models.

The Diablo C-1 is available in silver, white or black cabinet finish, and is complemented with a myriad of standard and designer fabric screen options.

ARTCOUSTIC's DBO-1 Digital Bass Optimizer is for use with all loudspeakers and subwoofers, regardless of brand or model. Based on the remarkable MaxxBass® technology from Waves Audio Ltd. and drawn from the latest research in psychoacoustics, the DBO-1 increases the perceived level of bass by adding harmonics to the original frequencies.
