I read a Dickinson quote about one of his recent NMA albums that he was trying to make as raw as possible. He thought it still came out too clean. It's nice to know that someone is trying.

Bruce Springsteen is a tricky one, huh? I love the guy and his music, but most of that musical love centers around four or five records from a short era in the 1970's. And none of them sound as good as they could have, but they all sound a damned site better than anything he did in the '80's.
