Echelon ConspiracySynopsis

Max Peterson (West) receives a cell phone in the mail while in Las Vegas, and messages appear, telling him to go to a certain slot machine and poker table. Each time he does this, he wins.

He doesn't understand what is going on, but so far, no complaints. That is, until the NSA gets involved.

They want to know who is sending the messages, because they are trying to fund a new computer program that will monitor every cell phone and every Internet connected computer in the world, and they can't seem to track this particular phone.

Then, when the NSA discovers where the messages are actually coming from, the game turns deadly.

Commentary

OK, so we have lots of super hero movies, and also plenty of conspiracy movies, where the government is involved. Echelon falls into the latter category. Actually, this one is pretty good, with plenty of action.

Technical

The image has noticeable edge enhancement, and there is not much use of the surround channels.

Extras

None.

The International and Friday 13th are two of the best black-level blueray movies I haven seen. There are so little noise in Friday the 13th and the image pops out with 120hz on your tv turn on. AS today Friday the 13th is the best looking blu-ray I have seen and also it is not a 30 year old movie, it is a remake.

The movie they review here is the thrid installment in the original Friday The 13th series of movies. It was originally released in 1982...it now 2009 so that's 27 years...nearly 30

If you head to IMDB.com, you will see that this is, indeed, a rerelease of the 1982 film:
