Commentary This was a low budget movie with unknown actors (an early Kevin Bacon) that turned out to be a big hit. The scene with the arrow through the throat is one that I have vivid memories about.
Technical The image is OK for such an old movie, but it seems to have a bit of noticeable edge enhancement. The sound is basically jazzed up mono. Extras These include Director's Commentary, New Tales from Friday the 13th, The Man Behind the Legacy, Friday the 13th Reunion, Lost Tales from Camp Blood, Friday the 13th Chronicles, Secrets Galore Behind the Gore, and the trailer.
