Joseph Sahyoun is President of Earthquake Audio Corporation located in the San Francisco Bay Area. I spoke with him about some of his latest technology that is changing the way various products are manufactured. This includes some new patents described here. The first one is a new voice coil cooling technology that will allow more power to be delivered from subwoofers. Click on the first photo below to see the video.

The second video shows Earthquake's latest shaker technology that will hit the streets sometime this Fall. Click on the photo to see the video.

The third video (click on the photo below) describes how Earthquake has developed its amplifier designs to accommodate the latest push towards green technology (not to mention that it sounds better too).

Hello Joseph,

I just watched your three short videos that you filmed at your shop, your design on the voice coil cooling, the shaker and the "green" amp (saving energy on the idling). I must say I was impressed by your products and yourself, you appeared to me to be trustworthy man, a nice guy. I currently am using a higher end Velodyne sub, Bryston amp. Who knows maybe in the future I will switch to Earthquake Audio. Keep up the good work.
