NILES MS200 WINS THE 2004 ELECTRONIC HOUSE PRODUCT OF THE YEAR AWARD
Miniature surface-mount infrared sensor reliably relays remote control commands to hidden audio/video components.
MIAMI, FLORIDA, JULY 30, 2004 – Niles Audio Corporation today announced that the MS 200 miniature surface-mount infrared sensor has been named “2004 Product of the Year” by Electronic House magazine. Electronic House chooses its winners by reviewing the product, attending product demonstrations, and talking with installers and users of the product. They rank each of the hundreds of products submitted based on technical innovation, features, performance, availability and overall value.

The MS200 is a miniature surface-mount infrared sensor and is part of the Niles line of infrared extender systems. The MS200 is a wide bandwidth IR sensor that provides flawless performance in virtually any environment. Proprietary and patent pending product design results in the industry’s first wide bandwidth (26 – 105 kHz), miniature size, surface mount infrared sensor that operates reliability in areas where interference from plasma displays, florescent lighting and indirect sunlight are present. Integration is a major part of the design criteria for the MS200 including full backwards compatibility with previous Niles Main System Units.
