Differences of opinion aside, the new Indy film was a spectacular ride, very similar to Indy's other films. It deals with the paranormal, just like the others. I don't know why you though it sucked, but I totally agree with JEJ's assertion. - JLDoan

I don't generally consult Wikipedia about new movies. I guess I should have in the case of such a long series of sequels and remakes. Back in the time when Night of the Living Dead was released, we called them "Schlock" movies. Blood and guts, shot on a low budget. I do use IMDB, but info on previous versions and sequels was not on that site, although there is quite a list of films in the same genre and partially similar titles. Thanks for the suggestion though. I will consult Wikipedia from now on. - JEJ

Movie reviews differ widely in all the places where they are reviewed. My reviews are only my opinion. - JEJ

The sequels to Romero's classic original "Night of the Living Dead" predate the movies reviewed here by a couple of decades. The original "Dawn of the Dead" is from 1978 which was followed by "Day of the Dead" in 1985 and then the most recent installment (which is reviewed here) "Land of the Dead" in 2005. The "Dawn of the Dead" that you are reviewing is a remake of the 1978 sequel. While I wouldn't say that Romero's work is up there with "Gone With the Wind" or "2001" or "Citizen Cane", it is certainly significant in the horror canon and as such should be treated with a bit more respect when doing a synopsis review. A bit of fact checking by the writer or editor (it took me about 30 seconds to find the timeline on Wikipedia and IMDB) would be appreciated. - Dan Eickmeier

The Indiana movie was bad. In fact it didn't even hold up on an International United flight, when normally even lame movies seem like a treat compared to the attendants. I love this site, but in movies you are sometimes way off. You diss "Lost In Translation" and give this a 5? Yes please, I will have what you're smoking! - Steve-0
