			<title>HDMI to component</title>
			<link>http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/technical-articles/167--dvi-and-hdmi-connections-and-hdcp-explained.html#comment-1751</link>
<description>Basic problem is that my DVD player upscaling function only works on the HDMI out, also the 1080p out is only through HDMI.

The wiring in my house from my closet(where all my A/V equipment is located) to the TV is component (3 wire RGB or Y/CrCb/PrPb). I am wondering if there is anyway to convert the HDMI out from my DVD player/etc to 3 wire component to the TV. Seems like most of the converters have some copyright protection such that any copyrighted material results in the component outs being turned off. I am not trying to copy anything just want a way to get high res. to my TV. - Erik</description>
