The wiring in my house from my closet(where all my A/V equipment is located) to the TV is component (3 wire RGB or Y/CrCb/PrPb). I am wondering if there is anyway to convert the HDMI out from my DVD player/etc to 3 wire component to the TV. Seems like most of the converters have some copyright protection such that any copyrighted material results in the component outs being turned off.
